We've got a great bunch of people here at William George with a shared belief that there's a better way of treating people. They all care deeply about every transaction and interaction with the wonderful members of our community and strive to provide a trusted online platform for our buyers and sellers.

Managing Director

There's a reason we all love working here. Robin has spent over ten years growing William George and his industry leading knowledge and expertise has been a key factor in making the company what it is today. We all agree on the title of 'World's Best Boss'. Even though Robin is the smallest of the team, he can undoubtedly run faster than all of us combined and hike up and down a mountain before anyone else has a chance to catch their breath. A true mountain goat.

Head of Operations

Hannah, our resident super-woman and true crime enthusiast, will stop at nothing to help anyone that needs it. She manages our day to day operations here, well and truly keeping us all in check. Hannah is always on hand to help with all customer care queries, logistics and more. When she's not running things at William George, she's usually being lovingly mauled by her giant dog Hugo.

Head of Sales

Jade is our Sales Guru. She manages our seller accounts and ensures that our auctions are performing seamlessly. She's always on the go, by choice, and you'll quite often find her working on her laptop or making business calls when she's in the pub on a Friday night to provide unparalleled support. When Jade isnt in the gym, she's either making cakes, or eating them (it's all about balance, right?).

There's a reason why you see our ads everywhere. Helen is a genius. She uses her years of industry experience to get our auctions in front of as many eyes as possible. None of us know how she manages it, but Helen runs our entire marketing department alongside raising her twin boys, who she admits will eat more than most bodybuilders. We think that wine helps.

Head of Finance

Most people in accounts are described as being boring, but not Charlotte. She can break out of any escape room in less time that it takes to make a cup of tea (unlike the rest of the team, without her we'd still be locked in). When she’s not crunching numbers, she will be chasing her rescue dog, Mouse, around the garden. Charlotte manages all of the finances here, so she's definitely the one to be nice to!

Now this lady really is a wizard. She knows all things data, excel, and gin. Charlotte formats all of our auctions to ensure that they look better than the rest, and she doesn't mess around. When she sets out to do something, she will go above and beyond to make sure it's done, and at the highest possible standard. Currently learning about coding, she never stops.

Head of Security

One of the longest serving members of the WG team, don’t be fooled by the innocent face. If you’ve got two legs you might get Colin’s seal of approval but if you’ve got four you’re done for, which is one of the reasons he’s still to be let loose on Buddy. Watch this space for an update (refuse to say pupdate 🤢) on what happens when they eventually meet. Be very afraid Bud.

Apprentice

Part teddy bear, part pup, this gorgeous bundle of fluff is surgically attached to Helen unless someone offers him a chunk of cheese or a toilet roll to devour, then he’s anyone's. Happiest dozing in a pub, pooing where he shouldn’t, digging up a flowerbed or chewing through a sofa, he still has much to learn.
