Whether you’re renovating a property, or just want a few new additions to spruce up your home, we hold weekly bathroom auctions at William George which feature a huge volume of desirable items, many of them of the luxury variety.
Want to make your bath your centrepiece? Or maybe you need some clever new storage ideas? You’ve come to the right place.
This FAQ guide will help you get started with creating your dream bathroom space by buying at auction for very little money.
How often are the bathroom auctions held?
These are held weekly with hundreds of lots to browse through.
Are they all online?
Yes, all our auctions are held online… making it all the easier for you to do from the comfort of your home.
How do these work?
Our timed auctions all last for a particular period of time (normally at least two weeks but can be up to a month) and the end time and date is clear to see. It’s an automated process where all bidders are updated via email whether they’ve been the successful or leading bidder.
Do bathroom auctions have a reserve?
Nope! The great thing about our bathroom auctions is that often the items have no reserve and low starting bids, meaning there are plenty of bargains up for grabs.
Do I need an account?
Yes, you’ll need an account but they’re quick and easy to set up and once you’re done, it’s as simple as logging in next time and you’re ready to go.
Why is my registration pending?
This can happen and if so, it might just mean that some of the details you’ve entered haven’t been confirmed. Get in touch with one of our friendly team members who will be able to take a look for you and iron out any creases.
What happens if I bid on the wrong item?
If this happens to you, it’s important you let us know ASAP so that a solution can be found. When you bid you are entering into a legally binding commitment so we do reiterate to our buyers that you must make sure you are 100% confident before placing any bids.
What happens if I win an item?
Congratulations! You’ll receive an email on the same day as the close of the auction with a payment request. This will detail that the full amount will need to be paid within 2 working days. Once received, a collection notice will be issued to put both the vendor and bidder in touch.
Can I collect my own item?
If you’d prefer to arrange your own collection, you can do so with the specific vendor. This will need to be arranged quite swiftly after the purchase is made so that the seller can make the necessary preparations.
And that’s it! Take a look at our bathroom auctions and let us know how you get on below. (you can also tag us on social @williamgeorgeauctions as we love seeing what our customers do with their purchases!)
